Mystically present before my eyes,
Love made manifest produces deep sighs.
I cannot look at you without being struck with awe,
In this place of silence your love is the law.
O Beloved Jesus in the Blessed Host,
Will you not reveal yourself to those I love most?
The Protestant Revolt tore many away,
But isn’t reconciliation possible this day?
I long for all to come back to one fold,
That the world may know you and the Christian witness be bold.
The Jesus they preach, the Jesus they love,
Is the one who is here is this Eucharist from above.
Open their eyes,
Cause them to see,
If only they knew,
You are here with me.
Would they not beg to be welcomed by your Church?
Would they not give up every piece of merch?
Surely these beloved children of yours,
Would gladly give up all worldly lures.
You are here in the stillness,
Fulfilling every promise,
To be our nourishment,
Our life and our sweetness.
Mercy made manifest,
Beckons all to come.
At the Eucharistic Feast,
Visible unity shall be won.
