Lord Divine,
In monstrance enshrined,
Living flesh of God,
Drawing all who wander abroad.
Gift of self for all to see,
Only faith can get a glimpse of thee.
Awaken my heart, awaken my love,
Enrapture me, God, in the life above.
Strengthen my feeble flesh.
Enlighten my mind entangled and enmeshed.
Renew this temple you have made.
My body is yours, the price you’ve already paid.
Bought me at a price so great,
No money could reverse my doomed fate.
Your own body you gave for mine,
Bloodied and bruised, tortured Love Divine.
How can I not give you all of me
When on that cross you set me free?
Nourished now on Paschal Mystery,
You make me share in your Divinity.
What joy, what glee, the gift of thee!
You raise me up and help me bear my own bloody tree.
